BOSTON (Feb. 8, 2021) – Brokers and buyers now have an additional source of the War & Terrorism coverage increasingly needed by US companies in every geographic area and industry.

“The increasing frequency and severity of civil unrest in the US over the past several months have served as a reminder that any company, anywhere, at any time can be affected by terrorism, strike, riot, or civil commotion,” said Liberty Mutual’s Global Risk Solutions (GRS) North American Head of War & Terrorism Jennifer Rubin. “At Liberty, we wanted to make standalone War & Terrorism coverage as accessible as possible for our clients.”

Effective immediately, War & Terrorism coverage is now available in the US through both Ironshore and Liberty Specialty Markets, with a per-risk limit of $250 million.

“Liberty is committed to seamlessly delivering all that we have to offer to our brokers and customers,” said GRS North America President of Field Operations Marc Orloff. “With Ironshore underwriters now able to underwrite War & Terrorism alongside Property, we have delivered a significant time-saver for brokers, making it easier for them to purchase this important coverage for their clients.”
