​July 16, 2015 - To help meet the inland marine needs of brokers and risk managers, Liberty Mutual’s National Insurance Property operation has appointed Dan Feige division underwriting manager for its Inland Marine division.

Based in New York, Feige is responsible for strategically growing Liberty Mutual’s large inland marine business.

“Dan’s nearly 20 years of inland marine underwriting and product management experience will help him profitably expand our presence in the large inland marine market,” notes Mike Martin, executive vice president, general manager, Liberty Mutual National Insurance Property. 

Prior to joining Liberty Mutual, Feige served as vice president of North American Product Underwriting at Zurich Insurance and headed the marine and engineering lines.  He also held numerous positions at Hartford Financial Services Group, including Northeast Division manager.

Liberty Mutual’s National Insurance Property operation provides a full range of commercial property products, including single-carrier, shared and layered, multinational, equipment breakdown, and inland marine.  Broad and flexible coverages are supported by field-based underwriters and certified property risk engineers.
