More Than 2,600 Claims Experts and Adjusters and Mobile Unit Available to Support Impacted Customers

BOSTON (Sept. 2, 2021) – To help customers promptly and safely recover from the devastating damage of Hurricane Ida, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance are actively mobilizing their deep field and telephonic claims resources to promptly assist home, auto and business customers that were impacted. More than 110 property and auto claims experts are deployed to the region, with approximately 2,500 specialists available by telephone to assist customers.

To further facilitate a quick response and recovery, the companies have set up a home and auto claims mobile unit ready to assist customers, located at The Home Depot, 10300 Coursey Boulevard, in Baton Rouge. The company will continue to provide updates of mobile unit location online at and through its social media channels @LibertyMutual.

“Our priority is helping our customers through this difficult time, and we have more than 2,600 claims experts on the ground and by telephone available to promptly help our customers who have experienced loss from this storm,” said Liberty Mutual Chief Claims Officer, Global Retail Markets US, Mike Fiato “Once safe to do so, customers should reach out to us by phone, internet, mobile app, through their agent, or at our mobile unit location with their claims or questions.”
