Alternative Spring Break Grants

You’re taking action and we want to lend a hand!

More and more undergrads are trading in their swimsuits each March for hammers.  We recognize that you are spending what precious free time you have helping those in need and we value and support your effort to make a difference.

The Liberty Mutual Responsible Scholars ™ Alternative Spring Break Grants will provide funding for 10 student organizations to help rebuild and strengthen communities across the globe. 

The size of your group that will participate in the actual Spring Break Volunteer Program will determine the grant amount.

• 5 Large Organizations (15+ students attending) are eligible to receive $2500
• 5 Small Organizations (under 15 students) are eligible to receive $1000.

To be eligible for the Liberty Mutual Responsible Scholars ™ Alternative Spring Break Grant, you must:

• Currently attend an accredited four-year college or university in the United States;
• Be an active member of an official student organization on your campus;
• Submit a completed application using our fully-automated online process
