The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Region I Office, and the Research Institute signed a strategic alliance in August 2003. The organizations will work together with the nation’s employers and their employees to advance workplace safety and health. The objectives of the agreement are to share information about causes and solutions to work-related injuries, promote the benefits of comprehensive safety and health management systems in the work environment, convene or participate in discussions on work-related issues, and to assure that outreach resources are used efficiently to further the goals of the alliance.
