Actuarial Program

If you’re ready to launch your career, and don’t want to take off slowly, then you may be right for Liberty Mutual’s Actuarial Student Program.  The program offers those interested in pursing their actuarial designation an excellent opportunity to acquire a wide breadth of valuable business experience by rotating through different business units and departments every 12-24 months. Through these rotations you may analyze company profitability, estimate the liabilities of the company, and report on the company’s financial position. You will not only work with actuaries, but will have frequent interaction with members of the Finance, Underwriting, Sales, and Claims departments.

Actuarial Analyst

You’ll complement your experience with on-going training and development, not only in matters regarding actuarial theories and concepts, but also in professional and business skills from communications to project management.  You’ll also get time during work hours to study for each of the nine actuarial examinations offered by the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), all the required study materials, and the opportunity to attend exam preparation seminars.
