Congratulations! You have a degree. Maybe it’s in business administration, psychology, communications, or something else. One thing’s for sure: you want to use it to fuel your career. Liberty Mutual’s Human Resource Development Program could be the place to make that happen. Unlike other companies, where you’re simply put in a human resource position, Liberty Mutual builds your competencies through an intensive rotational program.
First, you’ll work behind-the-scenes in an operations unit learning critical components of the human resources function. This is not about shuffling paper. You’ll be building working relationships with managers as you work on issues critical to them - from conducting first day orientation and exit interviews to administering employee relocations and coaching managers on policy interpretation.
Then, you’ll take on two assignments, working in a corporate human resource functional area like benefits, systems, or employee relations or you'll go into one of the human resource business groups. You’ll continue to develop your skills and work toward your interests.
From there, you’ll be ready to apply for numerous Liberty Mutual positions and experience the rewards of an organization built on continuous employee development, integrity, and a mission to “help people live safer more secure lives.”
