Underwriting & Product Management

As an entry level underwriter, we’ll complement your academic learning with a formal 10-week training program in analysis, underwriting principles, products, and Liberty Mutual systems. Then, you’ll join our underwriting team and immediately work on meaningful assignments, researching and analyzing business results and making recommendations to support senior managements’ core business decisions.

“It’s exciting to know that I really impact the bottom line. I provide data and analysis to regional managers who help to make decisions about where we should grow the business or shrink the business… that’s directly related to the profitability of the company.”

As a Portfolio Analyst you will support our Personal Markets business unit with research and analysis that enables senior management to make decisions about the direction of the business and the most profitable business.

You will have excellent growth possibilities and be involved in a variety of challenging assignments, including projects that cross different states and regions. You’ll also interact with colleagues in sales, service, and claims groups. And since we have a strong promote-from-within policy and true pay-for performance culture, your hard work will be rewarded with bonuses, raises, and opportunities to broaden your experience in positions throughout the company.
