One way the Research Institute reflects Liberty Mutual’s commitment to responsibility is by making its scientific findings readily available to anyone with interests in occupational safety and health, including industry, academia, and government organizations. Many of these findings result in products, services, recommendations, and documentation to help promote workplace safety and health.

The first step in sharing scientific findings is through peer-reviewed publication, a rigorous evaluation process to validate scientific research. Each year, Research Institute scientists publish their findings in high profile, scientific journals, such as the American Journal of Industrial Medicine, Ergonomics, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Factors, International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics, Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation, and Spine.
