Paid Time Off

With this program, you can collect all of your time off (except company and personal holidays) and use it for any reason you like. You can even carry over up to 20 days from one year to the next giving you the flexibility to have the time off you need when you want it.  Employees begin accruing paid time off from their first day and are eligible to take it as quickly as it accrues.

Variable Incentive Plan (VIP)

Because we believe in sharing our success with those who make it possible, your total compensation package will go beyond your base salary.It also includes participation in our bonus program.  Our Variable Incentive Plan (VIP) provides annual cash awards based on how much you and your business unit contribute to the company’s financial success. Eligible employees include all regular full- and part-time employees who are not eligible for other incentive plans, such as a sales compensation program.

401(k) Savings Plan and Fully Funded Pension Plan

To help you prepare for your financial future, Liberty offers two ways to help you save. In addition to our pension plan, which is fully funded by Liberty, you can participate in our 401(k) savings plan. The plan offers a 50% company match of up to your first 7% of pay contributions, and the opportunity for an additional match of up to 50%, based on company performance.

Tuition Reimbursement

Take courses, earn a degree, and advance your career. Liberty makes it easy with our tuition reimbursement plan. With your manager's approval, the plan reimburses you 100% of the cost for undergraduate and graduate courses. You’re eligible for the plan once you’ve been a full-time Liberty Mutual employee for at least one year.

Give with Liberty

Give with Liberty is a countrywide charitable giving program for full- and part-time U.S. employees of Liberty Mutual Group.  Give with Liberty provides you the opportunity to donate directly to up to three eligible charities of your choice via payroll deduction.. Liberty Mutual Foundation will match $.50 on every dollar you donate to eligible charities, making the gift go even further.

Through this program, founded by doctors affiliated with Harvard Medical School, you can consult with some of the world’s top specialists to gain the insight and additional information needed to help confirm diagnosis and choose an appropriate treatment. Best Doctors is available to employees enrolled in the Liberty Mutual Medical Plan.

We offer a comprehensive dental plan that you’re eligible to enroll in immediately upon your date of employment. Full-time and regular part-time employees scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week.

Whether you need an eye exam or laser vision correction, the Liberty Mutual Vision Care Plan gives you an array of coverage options. You become eligible for coverage on your date of employment if you are a regular full-time employee or a regular part-time employee, scheduled and regularly working 20 hours or more per week.

Liberty Mutual helps you stay fit and in good health through the GlobalFit fitness program. You and your family save up to 60% on membership dues at more than 10,000 fitness clubs nationwide. The program also includes month-to-month memberships for most clubs (no long-term contracts), the flexibility to transfer to any club in GlobalFit’s growing network, and the chance to earn referral rewards.

Short-Term Disability Insurance (STD)

Short-term disability insurance is invaluable if you become sick or disabled and aren’t able to work for a short period of time. Liberty Mutual Short-Term Disability (STD) Plan gives you the coverage you need—and it’s fully paid for by Liberty Mutual. Full-time and regular part-time employees scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week are eligible to enroll in the plan immediately upon their date of hire.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)

Liberty Mutual’s AD&D Plan provides optional coverage of one, two, three, or four times pay to full-time and regular part-time employees (scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week) for accidents resulting in death or dismemberment. You become eligible immediately upon your date of employment.

Dependent Life Insurance

Liberty Mutual Dependent Life Insurance offers four levels of life insurance coverage for an employee’s spouse/domestic partner and three levels of coverage for dependent children to full-time and regular part-time employees (scheduled and working 20 or more hours per week).

Long-Term Care

The Long-Term Care Insurance Plan provides reimbursement for covered services needed by those who are not able to take care of themselves because of chronic illness, injury, or the effects of aging. The plan includes coverage for such services as nursing home care, home health care, adult day care, and temporary homemaker services.
