New Employee Orientation

When you start at Liberty Mutual you’ll receive a comprehensive orientation that spans the first 12 months of your role with Liberty Mutual. This includes:

  • Online courses to introduce you to the insurance industry and Liberty Mutual Insurance Group.
  • Your hiring manager taking specific actions to ensure everything is in place for your arrival.
  • An initial orientation to co-workers, the office, our company systems, and resources.
  • Ongoing training throughout your first year.
  • Participation in performance evaluation, development planning and career management discussions.

Manager Training - Building the Capabilities for Success (BCS) 

When smart, ambitious and busy people leave their everyday tasks to attend a multi-day management training session, it should challenge their thinking and help them become more effective.

BCS is a four-day management training program designed to strengthen your capability to lead people and manage your operations. The program has a strong business focus, is specific to Liberty Mutual, emphasizes application and practice, and ensures that all Liberty managers understand and execute their management responsibilities with the company’s philosophies, policies, and best practices. The program trains every new employee in a frontline or operations management role—and the results are visible throughout the company.
