Building Relationships for Scientific Collaborations

The Research Institute develops collaborative relationships to facilitate the exchange of ideas and technologies, to increase awareness of occupational safety and health, and to enhance worker safety worldwide. To achieve this goal, the Institute has established on-going affiliations with a number of world-renowned research organizations.  The Liberty Mutual Visiting Scholar Program also offers unique collaborative opportunities for senior research scientists.  There are also a variety of academic opportunities, including the American Society of Safety Engineers Foundation (ASSEF)/Liberty Mutual Safety Research Fellowship and post-doctoral fellowship opportunities with our research partners.  In addition, the Research Institute partners with prominent health and safety organizations to present awards that encourage excellence in occupational safety and health research.
