The Research Institute honored with International Ergonomics Association (IEA) Human Factors and Ergonomics Prize.
Researchers from the UK won the 2015 IEA/Liberty Mutual Medal. for their research paper entitled “Management of personal safety risk for lever operation in mechanical railway signal boxes” (Applied Ergonomics, Vol. 45, pp. 221-233, 2014).
Featured Scientific Publications
The Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation published an Institute investigation entitled, "The Job Accommodation Scale (JAS): Psychometric evaluation of a new measure of employer support for temporary job modifications."
The journal Accident Analysis and Prevention published "Development and validation of safety climate scales for mobile remote workers using utility/electrical workers as exemplar."
An Institute study, "Shoulder muscle fatigue development in young and older female adults during a repetitive manual task," was published in Ergonomics.
