Liberty Mutual's Bring Back the 4thTM

Bring Back the 4th Contest
In May 2010, Liberty Mutual launched Bring Back the 4th™, an online contest encouraging people across America to rally together and earn $10,000 grants to help continue their cities' and towns' official Fourth of July celebrations. The response was overwhelming; tens of thousands of Americans took our Responsible Moments in U.S. History quiz at www.BringBackThe4th.com to earn credits for their local Independence Day traditions.  Each completed quiz counted as one credit towards a website visitor's town, and the 10 municipalities with the most completed quizzes were awarded grants. Bring Back the 4th grants are awarded to cities and towns in three size-based categories: small (four grants), medium (three grants), and large (three grants).

Liberty Mutual would like to thank everyone who took the time to participate in Bring Back the 4th, in an inspiring display of community teamwork and patriotism.  We hope you have a happy and safe Fourth of July!

Liberty Mutual is proud to sponsor the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular, a family-friendly July 4th tradition reaching millions of TV viewers across America and bringing an estimated 800,000 concertgoers to Boston's Charles River Esplanade.

On July 4th, 2010, the nation joined us in celebrating America's birthday with conductor Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops, featuring Country Music superstar Toby Keith and host Craig Ferguson of CBS's "The Late Late Show."

New for 2010, the entire concert was broadcast in HD (high definition), courtesy of Liberty Mutual. In addition, the final 20 minutes of the broadcast, featuring the dazzling fireworks finale, was presented commercial free by Liberty Mutual.
